Markus Lupfer
Based in London, German-born designer Markus Lupfer is known for his cheeky take on classic knitwear. Kitschy, surrealist embroideries and prints breathe new life into everyday, feminine basics. And his sequin-embellished sweaters come with appliqués of giant lips or catchphrases like "Carpe Diem" and "Totes Amaze." Since he launched the label in 1998, Lupfer has also consulted for both Cacharel and Mulberry and taken the role of design director at Spanish label Armand Basi One.
