2000년도에 설립
프랑스 베이스 퍼/가죽 전문 브랜드
디자이너 Ines Marechal
그리 감도가 높은 패셔너블한 브랜드는 아니지만 전문적인 고급 퍼, 가죽라인을 모던하게 풀어내려고 하는 듯 하다.
History
The label Inès & Maréchal specializes in furs, leather and lambskin – with increasing international success. Their luxurious
and noticeably different designs are very contemporary: They are cut in a modern style, easy to wear and to accessorize.
"Fashion is a question of proportions," says Inès Maréchal. She founded the label in 2000 with Alain Maréchal.
While she is handling the design, Alain, an expert Paris furrier, is responsible for the implementation of the designs.
With their label, Inès and Alain Maréchal revolutionized traditional fur design. It was a conscious decision not to have their furs be ostentatious status symbols, but rather be aligned with contemporary styles and a younger, more trendy clientele: Fun with furs.
The collection of Inès & Maréchal includes lambskin capes with gray velour leggings, narrow mink body warmers, tender fur scarves and jackets made from very soft Italian leather. Inès Maréchal puts leather under the sleeves to avoid a too-voluminous look to her furs. She knits fox fur to an ultra-soft weave with high air-circulation. This fur can even be worn in summer.
Each season, Inès Maréchal lines her designs with a new lining– such as cheerful liberty silk patterns or a crushed wool fabric
for the fall / winter collection. For the winter season 2010, Inès & Maréchal are also using – aside from standards like rabbits and mink – long hair fox furs and animal printed goat – a first.
In general, Inès & Maréchal place great importance on using only the finest bred furs. Four times a year, Alain Maréchal travels
to the large auctions in Copenhagen and Helsinki, to choose the best furs. In the Paris studios of Inès & Maréchal, all of the label’s pieces are created with traditional craftsmanship – an elaborate process that results in a week of work for one coat.
The collections of Inès & Maréchal are available at Theresa in Munich, Apropos Cologne, Frauenschuh in Kitzbühel
and Trois Pommes in Gstaad.
